Every Peace Peloton ride starts at a Black-owned business (often a coffeeshop or other restaurant) where attendees can fuel up. The no-drop ride—typically around two hours at a very easy pace—then visits historically Black neighborhoods and landmarks around Seattle, like the Northwest African American Museum, and more Black-owned businesses, before finishing back at or near the start. In the second half, we interview Author, KT Tsering. KT, wrote an amazing book about called, "Courage Fearless Talent", the life story of professional cyclist and friend, Bennett White. "The book came about because Bennett wanted to have his life story told and was thinking about approaching someone to write it. When we met in January 2016 and he told me about his tragedy, it simply came together. A week or so later I came back with an outline for the book with the exception of the final chapter as we thought he would see the book published. Bennett was an elite cyclist and an ordinary man who searched to find his path from an early age, which turned out to be psychic healing. He became intensely focused, rejected superficial spirituality, raised his family and built structural legacy items then crashed into despair only to re-emerge on a foundation of running and his beloved cycling before being diagnosed with lung cancer. The story explores his journey, his responsibilities, how he embraced his healing process and how he prepared for dying. The testimony from those whose lives he impacted are his parting gift to the rest of us." Bennett will also be featured in the forthcoming film, #WeRideWhy www.kttsering.com Music by Deep Sea Diver, Blake Noble, Herbie Hancock & Shakespear's Sister
